May 7 - Liberal KS to Salida Co...NOT

With light rain and temperatures in the low 40s at Salida, we are going to sit tight and watch for an improvement in the weather. We really want to get into Leadville CO (elevation 9523 ft) which is highest in the country and one of the goals of the trip so. We want to make that stop. We will watch patiently and try to keep this group out of any mischief. We probably should assign someone that duty.
